We are recruiting a Solution Architect to join the architecture team of VDIS (Vallourec Digital & Information Systems), the Group's Global IT Department. This is a global position.

About the Role:

As an Enterprise Solutions Architect you will play a critical role in shaping the enterprise-wide strategy for systems, application and enterprise integration. This role will focus on aligning business processes with cutting-edge technology solutions, improving efficiency, and driving innovation in architecture landscape, systems design and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing complex, integrated solutions that support strategic architecture initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will be :

Architecture Strategy and Design:

• Develop, define, and maintain the enterprise solutions architecture and cloud infrastructure planning and optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (business, IT, vendors) to design integrated, scalable, and high performing systems that align with the company's overall strategic goals.
• Evaluate current technology landscape and identify opportunities to modernize and optimize operations through innovative technology solutions (e.g., AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Cloud).
• Ensure alignment of business strategies with broader enterprise architecture principles and best practices.

Technology & Systems Integration:

• Lead the implementation and integration of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics).
• Oversee end-to-end process mapping and systems integration efforts across applications and package solutions.
• Ensure data consistency, standardization, and interoperability between various enterprise-wide systems and applications.

Process Optimization:

• Drive process re-engineering initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience across the architecture landscape.
• Lead change management initiatives to support new system implementations, ensuring proper training and adoption.

Governance & Compliance:

• Establish and maintain a governance framework to ensure that architectural standards and practices are adhered to across the organization.
• Ensure systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including data security and privacy policies.

Required Skills:

Technical Expertise:

• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Strong experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), data architecture, and API/Microservices integration.
• Knowledge of data management, analytics, and AI/ML applications.

Leadership & Collaboration:

• Strong leadership and project management skills leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of collaborating with business leaders to define technology needs and develop solutions that align with business objectives.

Problem-Solving & Innovation:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Experience driving operational excellence through process optimization and technology enablement.

You have least 10+ years of experience as technical leader and trusted advisor in solutions architecture, system design, application development and enterprise architecture.

You are experienced in :

• designing API and Microservices solutions for enterprise systems integration using SAP, CRM, SCM, Backoffice and MES.
• working within software development lifecycle (SDLC) and coding using languages such as Java, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• implementing AWS cloud solutions using EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, DynamoDB (or other NoSQL), RDS, ElastiCache for Redis, API Gateway and Lambdas. Design and implementation of Event-drive Architectures (EDA) using AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS and SNS.
• Creating solution design documentation

Preferred Skills:

Having technology certifications in Integrations (e.g. Mulesoft, Boomi), Cloud (e.g. AWS Solution Architect) and Cyber Security is a plus.
