Full TimeJob Summary: Actively participates in the repair and maintenance of all HVAC equipment. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: State of Oklahoma Mechanical Journeyman License. Work Experience: 1 - 2 years related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of HVAC/plumbing systems; able to install and repair all types of systems. Ability to self direct work. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Performs repairs and maintenance of all HVAC equipment. Installs piping systems. Connects pipe or metal by means of welding, screwing or bolting. Selects correct welding methods and welding materials. Reads and understands blueprints. Estimates material requirements and costs associated with all types of piping systems. Works closely with other staff, instructing in assembling and installing piping. Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision. Working Relationships: Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise). Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Special Job Dimensions: None.
