Responsibilities:

1. Prepares hot and cold food and beverages as directed by the cook or

Dietary Management.

Follows recipes and menus for regular, textured modified, and therapeutic

diets.

1. Prepares trays with proper dishes, glasses, cups, and eating utensils for

meals.

1. Checks residents' trays for proper, and accurate food items. Transports and

serves trays at meal delivery.

1. Prepares snacks and nourishments according to resident food preferences

and physicians orders.

1. Cleans drink preparation area and utensils after use and after meal service.
2. Scrapes resident food trays after each meal, properly cleans and disinfects

hall carts after each use.

1. Follows posted cleaning logs and schedules utilizing proper sanitation and

cleaning methods.

1. Ensures that current and appropriate documentation is completed before

the end of each shift.

1. Practices safety, infection control, emergency procedures according to

facility policies.

10.Attends in-service education and staff meetings as required.

11.Performs other duties as assigned
