Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC saws to cut steel components according to work orders, blueprints, and measurement requirements.
• Set up material, input job specifications, verify measurements, and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper performance and quality output.
• Inspect finished cuts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting on CNC saw equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, fabricators, and other team members regarding job status or issues.
• Track production output and document completed jobs as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC saws or similar CNC equipment in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and tape measurements accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle steel materials safely.
• Familiarity with fabrication shop safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Reliability, teamwork, and willingness to learn additional equipment or processes as needed.
