Speech-Language Pathology Instructor or Assistant Professor & Director of School Contracts
Location: Muskogee Campus
Position Overview:
Northeastern State University (NSU) is seeking a full-time, 9-month Instructor or Assistant Professor for the Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Program within the Department of Health Professions. This position is based at the Muskogee Campus and includes travel to contracted school sites, with compensation provided for travel-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage school contracts held by NSU.
Supervise students during clinical rotations at partner schools.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to clinical placements and contracts.
Collaborate with school staff to ensure high-quality clinical education experiences.
Teach courses as assigned, with responsibilities including syllabus development, student engagement, assignment and exam grading, and immersive learning experiences.
Communicate regularly with students and faculty to support program goals and student success.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of post-credentialing clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Supervision certification from ASHA
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; doctorate in related field required for assistant professor rank.
Current Oklahoma state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary is $69,940.00 for instructor or $73,240.00 for assistant professor and includes an excellent benefits package.
