Job Title: School Bus DriverReport to: Director of TransportationDepartment: TransportationNumber of days: 176Position Summary: Transport students, faculty and other approved riders safely between designated pick-up/drop-off points and school or activity trips; maintain order; adhere to traffic and district safety rules.Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalency; valid Oklahoma Driver's License; bus driving skills; knowledge of applicable laws/regulations and district policies; ability to maintain discipline and communicate; comply with physical limits of the position.Duties: Obey traffic laws and bus safety regulations; maintain and document discipline issues; perform daily pre-trip inspections and report safety issues; maintain accurate route descriptions and schedules; pick up/discharge at authorized stops; report delays and accidents; use two-way radio appropriately; keep bus clean; maintain required licensing; attend meetings/training; promote positive image; perform other duties as assigned.
