Position Description
POSITION TITLE: Child Care Teacher
FLSA: Non-Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- CDA or COM preferred, but not required; ELECT training required in the first 90 days of employment; safe sleep training required once hired; additional trainings may be required

Ability to work well with Children and Adults

Capable of performing duties and tasks as assigned, independently and in a dependable and prompt manner
- Record of Good Attendance on the Job
- Clear Criminal History Record
REPORTS TO: Child Care Director
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide instruction, supervision, and love to children in an early childhood classroom setting. Teachers will assist in, develop, and implement lesson plans and classroom activities throughout the daily schedule; maintain all applicable licensing guidelines; communicate with families; and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children within their care.
