Position Purpose:

Meet, greet and assist everyone who enters the lobby of the bank in a personal and professional manner.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Provide customers with assistance with check orders, debit card orders and troubleshooting.
  • Handle Incoming/Outgoing Mail
  • Assist and guide visitors to the appropriate areas of the bank.
  • Provide assistance and entry into the customer(s) safe deposit boxes.
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally and determine the caller’s needs.
  • Perform clerical duties (copy, scanning, fax, and indexing) as required.
  • Control opening and closing of the bank as it relates to the front entrance doors.
  • Prepare necessary refreshments daily.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Research customer accounts as necessary.
  • Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of current bank products and services in order to provide accurate guidance and cross sell to customers.
  • Meet Personal SMART Goals.
  • Log referrals and customer feedback through internal system on a regular basis
  • Participate in bank/community activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to read and understand policies and procedures.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum one (1) year of face-to-face customer service experience, preferred.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

  • Typically requires sitting for long periods of time with frequent keyboard/mouse usage and intermittent stooping, bending and walking.
  • May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds which may include the need for independent mobility: bend, reach, or kneel.
  • Visual and auditory skills are required.
  • May be required to work some evenings and/or weekends as necessary.
