Warner Public Library/Connors State College is seeking a full-time Library Assistant for its Muskogee campus. We are looking for a qualified, energetic, and creative individual to join our team and support public library services. This position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, fostering community engagement, and ensuring the library remains a welcoming and efficient resource for patrons. The successful candidate will contribute to the daily operations of the library while helping to create positive and meaningful experiences for students, community members, and visitors.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or two years of college
- Two years of related library experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers and social networking platforms
- Experience speaking and presenting to the public
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach to local communities and represent the library at community events.
- Assist in planning and delivering adult and youth programs
- Provide customer services at public service points, including circulation functions
- Issue and renew library cards; update and maintain patron records
- Collect payments, operate the cash register, and reconcile daily transactions
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Compensation & Schedule:
- Status: Full-Time (40 hours per week); may include some evenings and weekends
- Hourly Rate: $15.00
