Primary Objective:
Create, customize, and adjust graphic arts utilizing Photo-shop and other related software in order to obtain a relationship between the glaze package and the digital print in a world class porcelain tile manufacturing facility.
Major Functions and Scope:
· Helps to maintain a safe, healthy, and organized working environment for all Graphics areas, glaze line booths and inkjet systems.
· Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered too, especially pertaining to SDS and personal protective equipment.
· Follows the plant Quality Management System, which is recommended for certification to ISO 9001:2015.
· Proficient knowledge of Photo-Shop, Adobe, and other related software.
· Lead the graphic team providing color management support to production and to coordinates upcoming color changes on production lines.
· Lead MSK team to coordinate with R+D, Planning and glaze suppliers all process trials related to New Product Introduction.
· Lead graphic team and glaze prep department providing technical support to resolve problems with regards to shade variations, glaze defects,
application problems and other problems as needed.
· Able to work with R+D and corporate Marketing on new product characterization process.
· Technical skills and good knowledge on Ceramic manufacturing process, especially all Glaze Line equipment & Glaze prep process.
· Assists in the performance, linearization, and operation of inkjet printers.
· Ability to write reports and to effectively present information to groups of managers.
· Monitors equipment and/or processes and ensures timely reporting of any unusual problems to supervisor.
· Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
· Follows company operating procedures and policy guidelines.
· Performs other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Experience:
Competencies and Supervision: Describe the education, knowledge required, years of experience, specific skills and abilities required to do the job on a fully competent basis.
Education and Knowledge:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in graphic/industrial design preferred. Knowledge of graphic production design. Advanced knowledge of Photo-shop programs on Mac Computer. Color management experience in ceramic required. Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processors to perform various analysis and business correspondence.
5 or more years graphic design experience in a color management and manufacturing environment.
Competencies:
Ability to read and understand procedures in English. Effective communication skills, listening skills, attention to details, and ability to organize and retrieve information. Ability to manage several projects at once. Ability to work in a team environment.

The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate may lift and/or move 50 to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
