As a CNC Plasma Programmer, you will transform engineering designs into precision-cut components that power telecom infrastructure. This role combines technical programming expertise with hands-on problem-solving to optimize production efficiency and quality.
What You’ll Do
• Program and optimize CNC plasma cutting operations using PrimeCut or similar software.
• Translate engineering drawings and CAD files into accurate tool paths.
• Test and refine programs for efficiency, quality, and material utilization.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and adjust programs to enhance performance.
• Maintain detailed documentation of programs and revisions.
• Support preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
What You Bring
• 5+ years of CNC programming experience; 3+ years with plasma cutting systems preferred.
• Expertise with Alltra, Kinetic, and PrimeCut software.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of nesting optimization and material traceability.
• Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication and a team-first mindset.
