Arcosa, Inc. is seeking a Paralegal in our Dallas, TX headquarters. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel/Director of Compliance, the Paralegal will be responsible for supporting Arcosa’s processes and practices for managing, defending, and prosecuting legal matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for all legal matters, including litigation, labor & employment, and regulatory matters;
  • Assist with preparation and tracking of litigation holds;
  • Track deadlines to monitor and ensure compliance with court, statutory, and other deadlines;
  • Provide eDiscovery project management and technical support to associate general counsel;
  • Coordinate with outside counsel relating to communications, witness preparation, and fact finding conferences;
  • Provide documentary and other support as requested to facilitate day-to-day business decisions pertaining to claims and litigated matters;
  • Assist with collection and review of records in connection with internal investigations, third-party subpoenas, and similar matters;
  • Support and maintain corporate records program, including maintenance of record retention schedules;
  • Monitor, maintain, and provide departmental support for the legal shared drive and legal technology software/applications;
  • Collaborate and communicate with a variety of teams throughout Arcosa ; and
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or paralegal certification with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand contract terms and legal terminology
  • Strong attention to detail and team player with strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and OneDrive
