Acme Engineering & Mfg Corp, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of fans and ventilating products, has an immediate opening for a Production Scheduler. The ideal candidate must have the ability to handle large volumes of orders, interface across all departments and all levels of management, and interpret factory loads using MRP data in order to level load a factory. The candidate must also possess solid experience in planning and scheduling using a web based MRP system with at least 3 years work experience in the scheduling arena and have excellent computer skills with experience utilizing spreadsheets. A high energy, self-starter, with the ability to function with minimal supervision is a plus!

Summary of Duties:

- Control and implement plant production schedule - Schedule all customer orders - Set factory order of priorities - Lead production meetings to review priorities and the weekly schedule - Review and release orders daily and weekly - Monitor orders through the factory - Interface with factory supervisors and others to meet monthly goals - Monitor and maintain order policies - Interface with marketing on order issues and customer questions
