The Accounts Payable Accountant is required to perform day to day financial transactions by classifying, computing, posting and recording AP Data.

Responsibilities

• Processing and coding invoices for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
• Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies for multiple companies
• Reviewing and processing multi company employee expense reports
• Maintaining accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Assisting with month-end close processes

Skills

• Proven working experience as AP Accountant I or II, payable manager
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of our employees and clients
• Relevant office or billing experience with confidential information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word; experience using a database

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).
• Familiarity with several Accounting Software Platforms

Preferred:

• BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years in related AP accounting or general business processes
